Character: Hunk
Canon: Voltron: Legendary Defender
Info: Hunk is a Defender of the Universe, pilots a giant ancient alien Yellow Lion Robot (which he doesn't have), is an intergalactic chef, his team's mechanic/engineer, a comic relief character, aaaaand he's prone to bouts of anxiety. He's super chill most of the time and wears his heart on his sleeve.
Job(s): Gourmand/Magitek Knight with Monk in storage.
Housing: B-01 but that's likely to change at some point soonish!
Moogle: Balmogra is a good dude who is basically Hunk's anti-anxiety implement. Poor fuzzball quickly learned that there's more to Hunk than screaming and crying, but there's at least some kupo nuts in it for him. Lots of roasted kupo nuts.

Status: Hunk had a very rocky start but was surrounded by people who sympathized with him, which let him pay that forward to others. It helps that Shiro, his team leader, showed up too... even though he's from three seasons in the past and Hunk is convinced this is part of a stable time loop. He's wrong. It'll be awk. He's getting used to being a melee fighter (he used Big Guns in canon but those have ammo here) but he'll always complain about Gourmand's weapons. He set up a study hall for aspiring magitek/airship enthusiasts (and may do so again) and at Hana Song's urging he's starting a cooking show on Mognet that'll premiere later in June. Also he wants to go home really badly, but Shiro told him to treat all this like a vacation, so he is. Whoops.

Employment: Plans aplenty. Maybe airship pilot, maybe chef? Very TBD.

Plans:

• Hunk's gonna try to squeeze Dream Width info out of PuPus as part of the Golsaucian Gauntlet player plot. Either incidentally run the diversion and play in the Gauntlet or follow the ever-growing crowd of people who have no right to call themselves sneaky.
• He's also gonna start semi-regular (see: I'm lazy) Cooking Show posts on Mognet and having cooking neophytes join him on-screen to show that anyone can make good food.
• I've been toying with the idea of a Sensitive Boys Sleepover since the game opened because there's a lotta teenage dudes who have a lot of feelings and just need a hug and to bake cookies and stuff. One day I'll make that happen. Maybe?

Desired CR: Positive CR is great, but I'd love to see Negative CR because he just has a lot of trouble disliking people. A lot. But if your character finds a reason to dislike him then oh my goddddd yes.
Undesired Things: I try to be real flexible and wing it most of the time. If you're not sure then just ask!
Shipping: Good luck. Hunk's afraid of commitment, is very traditional ("You haven't even met my mom!") and has had some interesting shipping-adjacent things happen to him. If anything happens it'd be a slow build.

Additional Comment: My tagging speed/timing is super erratic because I work two jobs with weird schedules, I'm ping-pong-ing between job interviews, I'm prepping to move, I'm running the upcoming player plot, and sometimes I forget to eat! I try to do tagbacks within 72 hours (usually less) but I'm also down to boomerang if you ask first!

Character: [AU] Papyrus
Canon: Undertale (Inverted Fate AU)
Info: Upbeat, eccentric, and very, very loud, Papyrus is a well meaning but rather over the top skeleton. His hobbies include puzzles, cooking ridiculous amounts of spaghetti for people, science, and all things cool. He's also very eager to make friends and become popular and bathe in a shower of kisses every morning.

He means well and overall is very kind and forgiving, even to the most suspicious strangers, but beneath his bombastic ego lies an insecure SOUL who's had some rather troubled experiences during his time as the royal scientist's aide. Also, he's from a world full of all sorts of weird monsters that were banished underground. Fun times!

Job(s): Chemist, Gourmand, Magitek Knight. Chemist is his favored job, but he's got Gourmand as passive and Magitek as stored. He may be swapping Magitek and Gourmand for a bit, though, to regain his technical skills.
Housing: B-11
Moogle: Moby, a very mischievous, smart alek moogle who loves to get on people's nerves. Beware.

Status: He's holding up well enough, but has been rather wary/restless for a while. Partly due to Frisk. Partly due to concerns about Undyne. Since Frisk is now here, he'll be a bit more cheerful, but there are other things weighing on his mind. The status of monsters here is chief among them, as it distresses him how they're so often killed and behave with so much more ferocity.

Employment: He wants to get a job doing sciencey things but may start out working at the library just to get a chance to research more and help people.

Plans: Papyrus is gonna be participating in the gauntlet. For fun! For glory! I'm also planning for him to participate in fathoms below on the puzzle side of things. After all, it's his passion!

Desired CR: I'm up for anything! Friends, rivals, enemies. I think it'd be cool if Pap met some people who could push him a little given his idealistic worldview, but overall, I'd just love for this doofus to get more CR in general.
Undesired Things: Death.
Shipping: I'm fine with it, if it happens naturally. Not that I expect it, since he's a cartoony skeleton.

Additional Comment: My tag speed varies due to work and other projects, but I'll try to get back as quick as I can.
