Doesn't sound odd at all. I completely agree they both need to just cut loose a bit. Shiro has the time for sure. he just needs to pull away from work and investigation. depending on when Finn could definitely get him to go with him. Or they run into each other while he's stuck in one city until he has to ship out again.
