Caster/Medea (AU) | Fate/ series

[A. Retrieval]

[This...this was not Earth. Even as her senses started to kick in, she could feel it. She had expected to be summoned as part of the Grail War. But something was off. She didn't feel a connection to a master. It's almost as if...she were normal? No, there's still something, but it's unfamiliar.

She held her head, eyes still closed as she tried to make sense of her surroundings. She needed more time to adjust, but refused. This was a situation she wanted to know about NOW!]

What...what is going on?

[D. Guilds]

[It was a no brainer she would stick with the more magically-inclined classes. Never wielding a sword or bow properly, to choose those meant death. However, she wasn't a fan of the outfit, preferring her old robes. She was staring at the hat. Nothing seemed that special about it.]

I am aware of a need to choose clothes carefully, but are we not allowed to choose our own clothes?

[F. Sidequests]

[She didn't like working with others. She wasn't even a fan of this group as they were making plans. But she had to. No one wanted to do these tasks like fighting a Malboro on their own; she sure didn't. So don't mind her while she is exploring a dungeon with a group, she is making notes on the map.]

Two routes left, though I advise going to the left. It could just lead to a dead end.

[I. Random Encounter]

[It was supposed to be simple, just gather a few materials and try to test them out for a little experiment. What could go wrong? Well how about a Behemoth currently lurking about within the forest, forcing Caster to hide from it. She was already pretty damaged, robes torn, and a scratch across her cheek. It was much faster than she predicted, and strong too. She was lucky to just get away. All she had to do was wait, and pray it looked away long enough for her to run.

...Although, if someone were to come across this beast and kill it, the spoils it carried could be valuable as well. Another tempting thought. But that was going to be plan B. She was too distracted by the lumbering beast to notice someone else approaching the area...]

[J. Wild Card]

[Reading was fun, right? ...Well not when it's work. And that was precisely why Caster buried herself in books within the library. One could also see a map too buried under there, with some notes scribbled onto there. What was she doing? Researching monsters and their weaknesses. Back in her time before she became a Servant, knowledge like this wasn't always recorded reliably. Sadly, the same could be said here as she has a few different answers on monsters.]

Beginning to wonder if this one even traveled here at all. [She grumbles as she crosses out the information.] Starting to see why many others choose to record this information for themselves.
