Noct doesn't need to worry about it. Ignis is too stubborn to just sit aside and let "trivial" thing like loss of eyesight keep him from fulfilling his duties. He trained tooth and nail for his position, he is not going to allow himself to shirk his duties now. Not being back home is not an excuse.
