[Takumi is sitting nearby and watching people practice, and while he'd protest if anyone claimed he was sulking and feeling sorry for himself that's kind of what he's doing - bemoaning not only the loss of his personal yumi in the Dream Width but also the lack of yumis in general. There were bows aplenty, but the balancing was different than what he was used to and he didn't trust himself to take a shot in front of so many people and not completely embarrass himself. (He really wished he had an abandoned forest to practice in right about now. It was so much better for his nerves.)
