The voice of the other woman caught her by surprise, shaking her from her thoughts so suddenly that she almost shudders. So focused on her worries was she that it hadn't occurred to her that there were still others around her, let alone some one so close as to ask of her condition.

Hastily she wipes the length of her forearm over her eyes, sending her tears away as she struggles to compose herself and regain the ability of speech.

"Goodness, what a fool I must look like. Sitting here, like this, when there are so many others on the same horse as I am. F-forgive me."

She nods her head a few times, still keeping her vision from the kind young girl, thinking the gestures might relieve the Samaritan of any more unnecessary worry.

"I shall be fine. It's simply.. A lot to take in. Am I to assume that you have just arrived yourself?"
