Kairi was brave at least to an extent, but watching it wriggle and try it's best to stay alive she still wasn't sure that she could eat it. She kind of felt bad for the creature.

"I am brave, but I guess I feel about eating something that is still moving. Like it will feel the pain as it's chewed on at the beginning."
