Well, I was trained in one- and two-handed backsword variants, but outside of training I primarily use a single-edged zweihander with a broad blade and a basket hilt. It can be a bit unwieldy at times, but the reach and cutting power is worth it, especially when you're fighting monsters ten times your size. I guess you could say I've dabbled a little bit in sword-and-shield combat, but that's, um... that's a complicated matter."
