There's some recognition that flutters inside Gladio at the sight of the garb the man wears. Sort of like a quick fish darting thigh dark waters, a there one second and gone the next sort of thing. He wouldn't know the extent of who the man is, nor give it much thought if he did. Not because he's not interested, but it's just not his business.

But, like knows like. Gladio makes a point to observe. To notice all things in his environment and what may or may not provide a threat. 'People watching' is a polite turn of phrase. But, it's an easier thing to swallow than the basic truth. People are dangerous, no matter the package they come in.

He sits nearby, but not too close for comfort. The aim isn't to be intimidating. Just...feel the situation out. Gladio lounges, body language open and easy. He glances over with a lazy sort of smile. "Nice day, huh."
