Connie pants, shooting a half dozen Fire Bullets into the chest of a Sahagin before scrambling to reload her gunblade. "Monika, um, you probably don't want to hear this," a laser erupts from the barrel of her weapon, taking the monster's head clean off, "But we can't win this fight." A spear digs into Connie's side, sliding between the plating of her armor. She gasps in pain, before gritting her teeth and roundhouse-kicking the monster to the ground. Plunging her gunblade into its chest, Connie fires several more Fire Bullets point-blank, finishing it off.

Connie digs out a potion, gulping down the entire phial of soothing liquid, before saying. "That was my last potion. We can't hold out against these numbers. And with this many of them, chances are that if both of us run, we're going to be monster chow anyways." She takes a deep breath, firing another laser into the crowd. "Which is why, on my cue, you are going to get out of here while I hold them off."
