Now it was just a game for the bird. It pushed harder against Nyx's hand, to the point of shifting the man backwards with a scrape of boots. Nyx holds the greens above his head, turning as the Chocobo squawks loudly before snapping its head forward to snatch the greens.

"Alright, alright. Take them." Nyx rubs the Chocobo's beak, then up into the head feathers. "Acting like you haven't been fed in days."

He glances at the cheerful blond, raising his brow. He didn't want to present the negative feeling he had towards this meeting but it was difficult to ignore.

"You aren't someone I expected to see in a place like this. I assumed this was some form of ... after life."

Saying it out loud was strange since people who had died generally have no words on the subject.
