I do agree that there should be more women in positions of authority where I am from, but I also think there is some merit in how my world handles governance. See, we elect officials that, in theory, provide a voice for an entire group of people. That way instead of a whole group of people fighting to get their way, one person with a really strong message can say the wishes of their people to other people in that position.
