To say she woke from a dream wouldn't be accurate. No, it's more true to say it was a nightmare. It takes awhile for her to truly 'take in' her understandings, she's in a...medieval fantasy ship?...What? That can't be right, this has to be a dream or a hallucination. It feels almost like she's a plane, but that's impossible, no interior of a plane looks like this except in cheesy fantasy stories...then again it wasn't too long ago when the world found out demons existed.
Still this seems different somehow.
There are other people on this ship by the looks of it which is...a good thing? She sheepishly taps the person next the shoulder still in flight or fight.
"Excuse me, do you know what's going on?"
CURTI CENTER
"You're far from home, Miki Makimura."
She says to herself. There's a twinge of guilt in saying it through, there's not a home to go back to, not anymore. She can't even sure if...
Tears swell in her eyes. Her family, her friends...they're gone, in more ways than one. Akira and Miko could still be alive, but for how long? She could bring them here...but she doesn't even know how she got here, let alone know how to bring anyone else.
What if she brought a team to her world, maybe with their help they can help find them...but can she really do that? Ask complete strangers for help and risk their lives for people they don't even know?
So many thoughts rattle in her head, it's all so overwhelming.
She sits down on a bench, trying to collect herself, the last thing she needs is to make a scene and breakdown in public like this.
