I mean, it kind of depends on the kind of lending-a-hand that's going on? Like, for example, on Futaba's network post Cornelia has come up with a few good leads and so Futaba is like 'cool beans, you do that and check in if you find anything interesting!' Something that involves a lot more frequent communication or even in-person digging/research/etc. would likely need more trust, yes.

Like the big problem that's going on in their thread on Futaba's post right now is that Selphie is acting really conspiratorial about something that Futaba is pretty sure really doesn't merit it? And making a really simple info gather way more complicated than it needs to be (like, all that really needs to be done is basically to make a post after the imperial visit is over asking for what information everybody got, that's all). Point being, it's leaving Futaba with a not-great impression.
