Her first thought was "what the f***". Her second was, "Wait, where's the human?!"
She shot up and looked around. Her vision was a bit blurry due to just waking up, but the floor, walls, and ceiling appeared to be made out of wood, and there were multiple cots scattered around this place. This was definitely not The Determinator. The people on the cots were of all shapes and sizes. There even appeared to be some humans!
She was definitely not in the Underground.
Everything is fine. Everything is fine.
Everything is not fine.
There was no way to keep her promise anymore. Everyone's hopes and dreams, that's all that mattered.
And now those hopes and dreams would never be fulfilled.
...no.
She wouldn't give up. She couldn't give up.
She needed answers.
She stormed over to the nearest person, who was still blurry in her vision, and tried to summon a spear. She was about to start demanding answers when she realized that the spear didn't appear.
She tried again to summon it. No luck.
She thought, "What the f***."
Did this place take away her ability to use magic? How did that even happen?
Whatever! She could still demand answers, including answers about why her ability to use magic was seemingly gone.
She muttered something about how she will keep her promise no matter what, before turning back to the person she was about to demand answers to, and saying, "Answers. Now."
Undyne | Undertale | Inverted Fate AU
Undyne woke up.
The first thing she saw? Stars. Actual stars.
