Oh no.
She had just yelled at a child monster. And now they were afraid of her.
She had messed up yet again.
Memories rushed through her head, of her emotionally hurting people she cared about.
She had to set this right.
All that mattered was everyone's hopes and dreams. She didn't want to shatter any of those.
She replied in a much less threatening tone of voice, "Sorry, kid."
