Character: [OU] Monika
Canon: Doki Doki Literature Club
Info: Monika is just a normal girl with sociopathic tendencies. President of the Literature Club and sentient video game character, she has a lot of friends whom she all deleted! Monika is a pretty difficult character to grasp, on the one hand she genuinely cares for her friends and is a kind person, but on the other hand the realization of her existence as a video game character has driven her to such extremes, she is ready to do anything to find a sliver of happiness. She can be very manipulative, but as she's taken from the end of DDLC she's also very aware of how terrible she is. It's a moral dilemma for her to continue with her manipulative ways or not.
Job(s): Bard / Necromancer
Housing: B-10
Moogle: Mogika. Just Mogika.

Status: Monika is currently unsure about whether this world is real or not. It's a bit more video gamey than she expected reality to be like, and it doesn't help that so many of her peers in this place are also very video gamey. Yet again, so is she. Not knowing whether the world is real or not is killing her a little inside, but she's hiding it. You likely won't see past her cheerful and kind facade for a while besides in her A, B and D prompts in the intro.
Employment: Unsure, she may get a job at a library eventually.

Plans: Monika wants to test whether this world is real or not. She doesn't know how she will do that just yet, but she's probably going to leap into all sorts of events and player plots for the sake of having some sort of basis to make her judgment. Depending on how her thread with Sayori will go, she may move out of the Curti Center quickly or not.

Desired CR: All kind of CR! People who can become true friend with her would be amazing- Depending on how she'll grow during her stay in MoE, there's a risk for her manipulative side to show, but there is also a chance for her to confide in her friends eventually.
Undesired Things: Please don't break the fourth wall with her like "I've played DDLC!" She would assume your character is the "player" and that's a can of worm that's best left closed.
Shipping: Not right now. If threads eventually lead in this direction, why not. But only if it happens naturally through roleplaying, I'm not interested in pre-planning ships. For the time being anyway, she still thinks she is in love with the "player," but she will progressively come to realize her feelings were less toward the player as a person, and more toward what they represented.

Additional Comment: I am a slow tagger, so expect a few tags at most per day from me! Sometimes I may go a few days without tagging if I hesitate too much on what to write.

Connie might be a good anchor for Monika, as show in the thread we already had. Do you want to keep on with that CR?

Sure! She may open the Literature Club back at some point, she'll certainly invite Connie to it should it happen.
