"So if I've got this right, I can spec two of these at once?" he says, mostly to himself. "Oh man. There is so much I can break with judicious levelling and subclassing."

...Ah. The joys of retail. This is one thing he didn't miss from home, to be honest. Time to put on a customer service face.
"Welcome to our apothecary, are you looking for potions, reagents, just browsing?" he says, trying not to sound as bored as he feels.

Is this lalafell guy seriously holding up a sign saying LFG to deal with Thunder Plains. Need a tank, a healer, a physical DPS. Will split gil evenly, divide equipment as needed?
Yes. Yes he is. Taped it to a staff twice as tall as he is. He's even eating an apple with his other hand, looking bored. And/or at his watch.
