Next week, reserves will open and on the 31st applications will be open once again! Reply to this post with your canon, the characters you'd like to see app'd and why 1. Make a new top-level with the name of your canon in the title! 2. Specify in your comment who are the in-game characters and who you'd like to see! Say what specific characters you'd like to see 3. Explain why everyone ever should app someone from your canon in the game! Basically, your top-level should try to enable people into app'ing into your cast. 4. Have fun! We will also post an ad for Melodies of Eternity on the upcoming EMP meme in nine days: please reply to the EMP Preparation thread should you want your cast and desired character list to appear in our ad.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Right now, we only have Okuyasu Nijimura, but I would love to see a Part 4 cast in particular. Josuke Higashikata is #1 on my list so the Dumbass Duo can live again, but anyone else from Morioh would be fantastic if just to have a familiar background. (I'd love a Tonio but what are the chances of someone playing him...)

JJBA is a ridiculous canon that is one of the biggest reasons why anime and manga are Like That, but the characters and powers are creative and finding ways to emulate Stands with Jobs (or with Custom Jobs in the future if possible) can be fun. Also someone please have dramatic poses and terrible fashion sense.

While the manga is long-running, it's divided into different parts (with some interconnecting story bits) that follow a different protagonist with the nickname Jojo, so there isn't too much canon to review unless you play a character that had shown up in multiple parts. Each Part can be considered part of a different genre, so you can pick and choose which you prefer! The current parts are:

Phantom Blood: Victorian Era Dracula with Sunlight Punching
Battle Tendency: Indiana Jones and Bullshit Battles
Stardust Crusaders: What nearly all shounen action series are inspired by but it's a trek across the world to fight people with Stands
Diamond is Unbreakable: Persona 4 Slice-of-life while catching a serial killer
Vento Aureo: The Godfather (with Stands)
Stone Ocean: Kind of its own thing, but it's a mix of tough prison fights and large-scale supernatural events
Steel Ball Run: The Western
Jojolion: Currently running, a bit of mystery and uncovering shady deals in the middle of a wacky family sitcom

Remember that quirky indie game from 2015 that people went gaga over? The one with goofy skeletons, angry fish warriors, nerd lizards, and the most handsome box on the planet? And also...


Wholesome hugs?!

Well, I'd love to see more folks from this little game! Right now it's just my AU Papyrus, but Doom's looking to app his Frisk next round, and there are a lot of characters open! Undertale's also a pretty affordable game, at ten dollars on Steam, with a PS4 and Vita version available at... some cost. I'm not sure off the top of my head, tbh. It's also coming to the Switch!

Characters I'd Love: OU Papyrus, Sans, Flowey, Undyne, Mettaton, Toriel, Asgore, Alphys, and Chara especially, but minor characters are fun, too! If someone wanted to app Burgerpants or something, that'd be A-okay.

I'm also down with AU shenanigans. Other Inverted Fate chars would be cool, but probably hella unlikely. I'm not so egotistical to expect people to app from my comic. :P On the off chance someone is curious, though, it's here.
