Anyway, Tidus gets the impression that Euphie is very sweet and kind. He hasn't delved into her thing with Lelouch yet (heh), but he'd like to make a good impression. Kind of...failed with showing her the whole whale thing, but that'll be a fun talk later. She's cool people.

Hunk is good people! Euphie has actually nudged Tidus in the direction of talking to him again because he's allegedly the best chef in Vaikuntha, so he's very interested in that. Also, he can totally relate to being overwhelmed by wacky situations and he's glad to see that he's doing better. Would definitely approve of hanging with him again.

Rikku!

So Rikku was totally Tidus's best Spiran buddy on the pilgrimage. (Sorry, Wakka. She fed Tidus when he was hungry. You did not.) They were both sunny, energetic, and kind of outsiders to the whole somber Yevon culture---well, Auron was the other one, but he was secretive about everything. Tidus had always wondered what it would be like to have a family after his parents left and Auron became his grumpy not-uncle, and in Spira he almost had it.

Flash forward to Vaikuntha. He knows Rikku has a life of her own to get back to, but he's also kind of picked up that she wasn't so sure of her path anymore. Being dead (ish), he sees this as a chance for one last fun adventure---if he had to be stuck with anyone from Spira, he's glad it was her. And he'll so proud of her for going after that pilot's license! can he have a ride pls

Ah, Baiken. She reminds Tidus of a certain grumpy man who raised him for ten years, which may be why he takes her advice with more weight than he otherwise would. He's determined to see her in a positive mood, and if he can someday prove himself to her too? That would be perfect.

He'd also like to know more about her, specifically, because she probably has a pretty cool story, but he knows from experience that's going to take time and patience. Two things he's bad at---but he'd like to get there eventually!

Selphie is great! Tidus really admires her spirit and determination, and he's definitely going to miss her a lot when he moves to Myste Aura---he'll have to stay in touch and visit often. Though at the moment he's really worried for her, given what he's seeing---it's hard to come away from a moment like that.
