things yue likes about red:
1. he's a dog
2. he's red (favorite color!)
3. he helped save yue from being a chocobo snack

plus he's good with weapons or mechanics or whatever that stuff is, this kid's kinda technologically backwards in a lot of ways still. the fact he can also fly one of those flying ship things also adds cool points! yue wants to--maybe not fly with him exactly, but riding his ship sounds fun? he gets the feeling red acts more human than dog so he's unsure about ear scritches but maybe...maybe they can do other things together? play games? look for dog-safe snacks? (can red eat chocolate, a serious question...)

despite not having asked any actual questions yet he's getting increasingly curious about red's race/culture/whatever, because it all seems pretty foreign to him from what little he's gleaned.

FUNNY STORY! There's a Stardogs coffee in Red's world, so it stands to reason that he doesn't suffer from the usual food toxicity.

That said, especially with the coming regain, hey, Red might just need to look into some roomies! especially if they help him finance the engine refurbishment

what's he gonna regain! is he regaining his ship? all of yue's funds are going to waste because he doesn't have particularly good money sense, so he'd happily help with engine funding...
