How this works.

You know that there are people you can talk to when it gets too much, right? We all have friends back home, too, no matter how many some people seem to have from their own world.

And... your friends will be there for you when you get back. It's only a matter of time.

I know it's just... a bit more complicated than that. [A long pause and then.] My home fell and we... went to sleep when it happened.

I don't know when or if we would ever wake up or if the people evacuated in time.

[ Yeah, this was Regis just back from Blitzball practice who saw that reply and walked up to Hope to give him a hug. And a kiss on top of his head.

Because some things are best when not thought of alone. ]

[He was about to reply when he felt the hug and kiss on his head. He was clinging back before he really knew it, eyes burning.]

It took a while before something in the hug shifted, and he finally spoke. ]

I get that we're not those you know, nor can take away the worry, but... you're not alone, Hope. So long as you're here, you won't be alone.

Regis rarely made actual promises, but this one, he did mean. ]
