Next week, reserves will open and on the 31st applications will be open once again! Reply to this post with your canon, the characters you'd like to see app'd and why 1. Make a new top-level with the name of your canon in the title! 2. Specify in your comment who are the in-game characters and who you'd like to see! Say what specific characters you'd like to see 3. Explain why everyone ever should app someone from your canon in the game! Basically, your top-level should try to enable people into app'ing into your cast. 4. Have fun! We will also post an ad for Melodies of Eternity on the upcoming EMP meme in nine days: please reply to the EMP Preparation thread should you want your cast and desired character list to appear in our ad.

You there! Yes, you! Do you like fun, heartfelt adventures? Do you like wacky shenanigans? Or perhaps you're the type who just wants a date with your SOULmate...



Then perhaps YOU'D like to enter the wonderful world of Undertale! A game where you can befriend a colorful cast of characters... or murder them all, I guess. That's always an option.

Undertale is the 2015 indie hit by Toby Fox. A rather short, quirky game with a lot of heart.

Our cast right now is pretty small! Just AU Frisk and Papyrus here, but there are many characters we'd love to see, AU or otherwise, such aaaas...


Papyrus' lazy brother, Sans! Laid back, has a habit of pulling pranks and making bad puns and gulping down condiments.


Undyne! The hotblooded captain of the Royal Guard, determined to bring justice to monsters everywhere. Also likes anime. And giant swords. And giant robots.


Mettaton! A robotic superstar, guaranteed to boost your ratings with his style and skill.

But there are many other characters, too! I'd personally love to see an OU Papyrus for double the skeleton fun, as well as Flowey, Asriel, Asgore, Alphys, Toriel... basically anyone has the potential for fun antics. However, since we're being shameless plugs as it is...

We'd also totally be down for AU characters from Inverted Fate, the comic Papyrus and Frisk hail from.

Inverted Fate takes place after a failed Pacifist run, where Frisk perished at the hands of the game's final boss. In the aftermath, the timeline was torn apart and reassembled. The destinies of six crucial characters were shuffled about, and their decisions in their new lives have reshaped the world.

Just like before, Frisk falls Underground, but they have forgotten their last journey beyond vague deja-vu. Flowey, however, remembers it clearly and "befriends" the child for his own ulterior motives, promising a chance at heroism, recognition, and friendship. They’re later joined by Papyrus, a goofy scientist and lab partner to the dangerous Undyne. Despite his mentor's desires to claim a human SOUL, Pap promises to protect Frisk at all costs. Unfortunately, their journey will pit the entire Underground against them, as the consequences have piled up and left monsters even more resentful toward humanity.

It makes sense in context. Probably.

We figure it's a huge shot in the dark, but on the rare chance someone did wanna give it a whack, it'd be cool to see IF Sans, Flowey, Mettaton, Asgore, Undyne, and Chara in particular. Or, y'know, other AUs! Maybe you have your own idea for a universe or there's another AU you're a fan of. Doom and I are both down for whatever multiversal antics. c:
